State of Maine Primary/Special Referendum Election and Town of Bar Harbor Candidate/Referendum Election:

It is strongly recommended that voting be done by Absentee Ballot. There will be a limit to the number of voters and election workers allowed in the polling place at any one time. Long wait times are to be expected.
The polling place will be set up for social distancing and use of PPE as well.
Absentee Ballots are now available.
Due to social distancing requirements, we will be unable to allow voters to vote early in the Clerk's office for this election. If you come into the office we will ask that you complete a request form, take your absentee ballots with you and return them at a later time.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:
- AFTER JULY 7, 2020 ALL voter registration must be done in person (NEW DATE!)
- JUNE 29, 2020 is the deadline to CHANGE from one qualified party to another. Voters who are unenrolled in a party may enroll up to and including Election Day
Absentee Ballots MUST be received by close of polls, 8pm on Tuesday, July 14.
